Kroton - Student Volleyball Association in Groningen

The nice thing about volleyball at Kroton is that in addition to having fun on the volleyball court, you can also participate in super fun activities! Throughout the year, our own AcCie provides entertainment next to the volleyball field, but we also organize various activities in collaboration with other Groninger student volleyball associations. And don't forget the BeachCie, which organizes the best volleyball tournament in the sun every year: Kroton Beach! From small to large activities, at Kroton we find it important that you get to know your team and the rest of the association outside of sports! More information about all events can be found below. KROTON BEACH

Kroton Beach is one of the largest beach volleyball tournaments in the north of the Netherlands. For three days, volleyball will be played in various categories, such as the company and youth competition. Every year the tournament provides three days of volleyball fun at the Hoornseplas.

CAFÉ DE DOOS KROTON EXTERNAL TOURNAMENT

Café de Doos Kroton External Tournament is an accessible and fun volleyball tournament that traditionally takes place on the Sunday after a fun Saturday party in Café de Doos. Every year many members and former Kroton players register for this tournament, but we also see new faces every year.

DKV TOURNAMENT

The DKV tournament is one of the largest volleyball tournaments in the Northern Netherlands. The tournament is organized annually by the three Groningen student volleyball clubs Donitas, Kroton and Veracles. The tournament takes place at the University Sports Center (ACLO) in Groningen. VKDT GALA

The VKDT gala is the gala for all volleyball students in Groningen. The gala is organized by the four student (beach) volleyball associations of Groningen: Veracles, Kroton, Donitas and Tweeslag. The gala takes place every 2 years.

ANNUAL MEMBERS ACTIVITIES

Only members of Kroton may participate in our member activities. The activities are organized by the AcCie. Every year the AcCie comes up with fun and changing activities, but there are a few activities that return every year such as the Kroton Camp, Running Dinner and Internal Tournament.
